Is your Android phone, running very slowly, lagging, and taking a long time to respond? Try these tips to boost your Android phone.
Please note: I will use Samsung Galaxy M12 running on One UI 4 (based on Android 11). So some settings may be different in the different models.
After each step, restart your phone to see if it fixed the issue.
To restart the Android phone:
- On most phones, press your phone's power button for about 30 seconds, or until your phone restarts.
- On the screen, you might need to tap Restart.

Samsung Account: Go to System Settings > Profile Photo > Profile info > under Preferences, turn OFF Get news and special offers.
Samsung Galaxy Store: Go to More options ≡ > Settings > under Personalisation, turn OFF Get news and special offers.
Samsung Galaxy Themes: Go to Menu ≡ > Settings > under Privacy, turn OFF Get news and special offers.

Samsung Members: Go to More options ⁝ > Settings > under Privacy, turn OFF Get news and special offers.
Samsung Pay Mini: Go to the Navigation drawer ≡ > Settings > under Personal, turn OFF Marketing and promotions. - Don’t Install any Third Party Antivirus
- Turn on the Samsung Automation features
- Reset Android Phone
