How To Scan & Remove Harmful Apps & Games On Samsung (Android) Phone

In this blog post, I will show you, how to scan your Samsung phone for Harmful Apps & Games.

You can find and remove harmful apps using Google Play Protect (in Google Play Store) and system antivirus (in Device Care).

Please note: In this video, I will use Samsung Galaxy M12 running on One UI 4 (based on Android 11). So some settings may be different in the different models.

How To Scan Apps & Games Using Play Protect on Android phones

To scan your phone using Play Protect on Android phone:

1. Open the "Play Store" app.
2. On the "Play Store" app, tap on the profile icon (at the top right) and select "Play Protect".
3. And then tap on the Scan button.

How To Scan Apps & Games Using System Antivirus On Samsung (Android) Phones

Samsung phones also have built-in antivirus.

To scan your phone using System antivirus on Samsung phone:

1. Open the Setting app.
2. In Settings, tap on"Battery and device care" > "Device protection".
3. And then tap on the "Scan phone" button.
