How to turn off Auto-update apps in the Play Store on Android phones

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Settings and then Network Preferences and then Auto-update apps.
4. Here select, Over Wi-Fi only or Don't auto-update apps.
   Select Don't auto-update apps to completely turn off automatic app updates.
5. And then tap on Done to save settings.

How to turn off Auto-play videos in the Play Store on Android phones

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Settings and then Network Preferences and then Auto-play videos.
4. Here select, Auto-play videos over Wi-Fi only or Don't auto-play videos.
   Select Don't auto-play videos to completely turn off automatic app updates.
5. And then tap on Done to save settings.
