Microsoft added Search Highlights in Windows 11 Build 22000.795.

Search Highlights presents notable and interesting moments of what’s special about each day—like holidays, anniversaries, and other educational moments in time both globally and in your region.

But, this will take PC resources like RAM and also internet data.

How to remove Search Highlights in Windows 11

To turn off Search Highlights:

• On Windows 11 PC, right-click on the Start menu and select Settings.
  
• In Settings, click on "Privacy & Security" from the left panel.
  
• In the "Privacy & Security", under "Windows permissions", click on "Search permissions".
  
• In the "Search permissions" settings, Under "More Settings" turn off the toggle under "Show search highlights".
