Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge ending support for Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 soon


With Windows 7 Extended Security Update (ESU) and Windows 8/8.1 end of support on January 10th, 2023, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge ending support for Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1. Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browser version 109 will be the last respective versions to support these operating systems.
110 versions of both browsers, Edge and Chrome are scheduled for release in 2nd week of February 2023. This means, After 2nd week of February, Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 will no longer be supported.
Also, version 109 will also be the last supported version for Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2. Internet Explorer 11 will remain supported on those operating systems for as long as they are in support.
