Microsoft OneDrive 25 New Features

American company Microsoft released OneDrive on 27th Jan 2025. Here's the list of new & improved features.

• Microsoft resolved product issues to improve the reliability and performance of the OneDrive sync app.
• Trailing Spaces. OneDrive Sync now automatically trims trailing spaces in file and folder names to improve upload reliability.
• Colored Folders in File Explorer: OneDrive now supports colored folders in Windows File Explorer, allowing users to personalize and manage folder colors for better content visibility.

• Confirmation for Shared File Deletions: Users will now see a new dialog prompting confirmation when deleting shared files from File Explorer, as long as OneDrive Sync is running and not paused.
• OneDrive Sync Status in Windows 10 File Explorer Ribbon: The OneDrive sync status, quota, and settings are now integrated into a new tab within the Windows 10 File Explorer ribbon (build 19045.4957) for improved productivity and easier access to sync information.
