You can now open shared Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files on iPhone and iPad devices without a Microsoft account

Anonymous File Sharing Extended to iOS: Microsoft 365 has expanded anonymous file-sharing capabilities to iPhone and iPad devices. Users can now open shared Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files without needing a Microsoft account.
Viewing and Editing Restrictions: Recipients can view shared files without signing in. However, they must sign in with a Microsoft account to make edits or leave comments.
How to Share:
  1. Open the file (Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) to share.
  2. Choose Share > Link settings and select either Anyone with the link can edit or Anyone with the link can view, then apply.
  3. Share the link via email or other messaging apps like Outlook or Teams.
Requirements and Availability:
This feature is available on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint mobile apps for iPhone and iPad running Version 2.94 (Build 25020422) or later.
Note: In China, usage is subject to the Personal Information Protection Law.
