Gradual Rollout Features
- Live Captions: Enhanced communication with real-time translations for 44+ languages into English and support for Simplified Chinese on Snapdragon-powered PCs.
- Settings:
New homepage for enterprise-managed PCs.
“Top cards” in System settings displaying key system specifications.
Fix for the display of Japanese names in accounts. - Input: Introduction of the Gamepad keyboard layout for Xbox controllers and improved discoverability of the emoji panel.
- Voice Access:
Natural language commanding introduced for Snapdragon-powered PCs.
Chinese language support for voice commands. - Task Manager: Updated CPU utilization calculation and a new optional column for backward compatibility.
- Widgets: Added support for lock screen widgets and made widget creation easier for web developers.
- File Explorer, Remote Desktop, and Screen Orientation: Various fixes to address menu directions, UDP usage, and unexpected screen orientation changes.
Normal Rollout Improvements
- Fixes related to HDR playback, PowerShell module execution under policies, and system crashes due to specific file system failures.
- Improvements in display kernel, cryptography, and boot menu behaviour.
- Deprecation of older features like Suggested Actions and Location History.
