Gemini in Slides Side Panel Now Available in More Languages

Google Workspace Updates has announced that Gemini in the side panel of Google Slides is now available in more languages. This update allows users to summarize, brainstorm, and generate content within Slides by leveraging insights from their emails and documents.

Accessing Gemini in Slides

To access Gemini in the side panel, simply click "Ask Gemini" in the top right corner of Slides on the web.

The new languages supported include:

Rollout Schedule

The rollout began on March 18, 2025, for Rapid Release domains and will begin on March 24, 2025, for Scheduled Release domains. Gemini in the side panel will operate in the language set in your Google account.
