Use Cases: Gemini allows users to quickly overview lengthy PDFs and utilize their contents for tasks like creating study guides or drafting emails.
Access Details:
  • Admins need to enable smart features and personalization for users to access Gemini.
  • End users can open PDFs in the Google Drive file viewer and click on the "Ask Gemini" (star button) to interact with it.
Rollout Timeline: Gradual rollout started on March 26, 2025, for Rapid and Scheduled Release domains, taking up to 15 days for visibility.
Availability:
  • Available to Google Workspace Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, and Google One AI Premium customers.
  • Included in Gemini Education and Education Premium add-ons. Note that the Gemini Business and Enterprise add-ons were discontinued for new purchases in January 2025.
