No doubt, Telegram is a very good messaging app. But it has an annoying feature, to send a notification whenever someone from the content list joined the telegram for the first time.

- On the Telegram app, tap on "More options ≡".
- From the left panel, select Settings.
- In Settings, tap on "Notifications and Sounds".
- In "Notifications and Sounds", under Events, turn OFF "Contact joined Telegram".
