Google added a flag in Chrome version 103, that can remove the Discover feed.

To remove Discover:

1. On an Android phone, open the Chrome app.
2. In the Address bar/box, type "chrome://flags" and tap the Go key.
3. In the "Search flags" box, search "feed-ablation".
4. Under "Feed ablation", tap on the Default box and select Enabled.
5. At the bottom right, tap on the Relaunch button.
6. Now, when you open the New Tab page, you will find that the Discover feed has been removed.

Bring back Discover in Chome on Android phones

If you wish to bring back the Discover feed on Chrome's New Tab page, simply turn off the "Feed ablation" flag.
