How to turn on Data Saver in Instagram app on Android phone
When Data Saver is turned on, the video won't load in advance to help you use less data.
To turn on Data Saver on Instagram app:
- Tap on Profile photo (at button-right).
- Tap on Menu ≡ (at top-right).
- From Menu, tap on Settings.
- In Settings, tap on Account.
- In Account, tap on Cellular Data Use.
- In Cellular Data Use, turn ON the toggle next to Data Saver.
If you choose to use this setting, videos may take longer to load over a cellular connection. Choosing to use this setting won't affect the way Instagram works when you're using WiFi.
