Microsoft introduced the new Microsoft Store in Windows 11. The new Microsoft Store is redesigned and now contains Win32 (desktop) software.
Rudy Huyn (Microsoft’s Principal Architect of Microsoft Store) shares that the modern Microsoft Store that made its first appearance on Windows 11 is now available to Windows 10 Insiders in the Release Preview channel.
But, we can install the new Microsoft Store in Windows 10 by manually updating using the msixbundle file.
So, In this blog, I am going to show you, how to install the new Windows 11 Microsoft Store on Windows 10.
Let's begin...
Download the latest Microsoft Store msixbundle file (installer file)
- First, open this store.rg-adguard.net on any internet browser.
- Then, click on the drop-down menu to the left of the textbox and choose ProductId.
- Next, paste 9wzdncrfjbmp (Microsoft Store ID) into the text field.
- And make sure RP (Release Preview) is selected in the drop-down menu to the right of the textbox.
- Finally, click the Done (checkmark icon) button.
- Here, we need to download msixbundle (installer file) for Microsoft Store. To find this file, press CTRL + F and type msixbundle. And then click on the file to download it.
Update Microsoft Store using msixbundle file
- Once the download is completed, open the Downloads folder (or the folder where you downloaded the msixbundle file)
- Make sure that your computer is connected to a stable internet connection, and then open the msixbundle file (Microsoft.WindowsStore_*****.****.**.*_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe.msixbundle).
- On the App Installer window, click on the Update button. After this App installer automatically downloads and installs all required software and then installs the new Microsoft Store.
- The new Microsoft Store automatically open up after updating.
On this new Microsoft Store, you can find and install almost Win32 (like VLC), .NET, UWP (like Microsoft Paint 3D), Xamarin, Election, React Native, Java, PWA (like Twitter) Apps or Software.
And that’s how you can install the new Windows 11 Microsoft Store on Windows 10.
