How to set Video Quality to Data Saver in Facebook app on Android Phone

Data Saver can save up to 40% mobile data by reducing video quality.
To set Video Quality to Data Saver on Facebook app:
  1. Tap on the Menu () tab (at top-right).
  2. In Menu, tap on the Settings icon (at top-right).
  3. In Settings, under Preferences, tap on Media.
  4. Under Video quality, select the Data Saver option.

How to turn off Autoplay in Facebook app on Android Phone

Autoplay is on by default. You can turn it off to save the internet data.
To turn off Autoplay on Facebook app.
  1. Tap on the Menu () tab (at top-right).
  2. In Menu, tap on the Settings icon (at top-right).
  3. In Settings, under Preferences, tap on Media.
  4. In Media, under Autoplay, select the On Wi-Fi only or Never Autoplay Videos.
    Select Never Autoplay Video to completely turn off Autoplay.
